Channel Island Dive Trip

Welcome back! "Douglas County Divers"

Douglas County Divers make it back safe and sound from diving the Channel Islands.
They boarded the Truth Aquatics, a 65 Ft. live-aboard dive boat out of Santa Barbara, CA on October 16th @ 8:00 pm. This trip was the Douglas County Divers second dive trip to the Channel Islands. They were scheduled to dive on October 17th, 18th, and 19th and return to harbor on the evening of the 19th.

Mike Ferris owner of Divers Den organized this dive trip to the Channel Islands as well as last years trip. Mike will be organizing another Channel Island dive trip for October 2005. Probably the later part of October. This time of year seems to be a great time, not only because of the weather but for the lobster hunting as well.

Heard they all had a wonderful time diving in the Channel Islands. I will hopefully be able to receive some pictures from Jim Rogers, (He always comes through!) Jim, I feel that I can say that, hope you don't mind. ( I do know that you do have a great sense of humor!)

The divers will probably have some great dives ready to talk about at the next dive club meeting.

Our next club meeting will be on October 28, 2005 at the Round Table Pizza @ 7:00 pm. Hope to see all of you then.
